The Harley Davidson Road Show was introduced at last years rally. It was a popular event will be back again this year in downtown Laconia at the City Hall next to the old mill. Hours are 9AM – 5PM (Demo Rides ‘till 4). A visitor looks at the Harley Davidson Model WLA the most recognized version of the U.S. military's WWII-era bikes. In WWII the Third Armored Division had more Harley-Davidson motorcycles than Sherman tanks and could easily have been called the "3rd Hell's Angels Division." During the combat of 1944-45 Third Armored Division had in excess of 300 of them, plus a lesser number of other versions, such as the side-car model and a shaft-drive bike.
