The first thing you will notice this year is that that U.S. Highway 1 in Ormand beach was repaved just in time for Bikeweek. You will also see new buildings and improvements along the two miles approaching "Destination Daytona" (DD) as well as DD itself.

The Coca-Cola Pavilion is still under construction, but the new Arlen Dealership is now open on the north side of the property featuring the largest selection of custom bikes and accessories from Ness Motorcycles, American Ironhorse, Rucker Performance, Rooke Customs, Hellbound Steel, Ducati and Triumph!
If you have a hankering for barbacue you will find a new "Daytona Pig Stand" and a Houligan's Sports Bar and Grill has open to give bikers' an option to the offerings at the DD Food Court.
Historically, the focus of Bike Week has been Main Street in Downtown Daytona. In 1994, when Rossmeyer opened his second Daytona Harley-Davidson dealership on Beach Street, he quickly turned that into a second gathering place by renting the city park accross the street and creating an outdoor marketplace for aftermarket vendors and manufacturers.
Growth of the annual event over the last ten years and increasing fees charged by the city prompted Bruce Rossmeyer and other vendors to look for alternatives.
The availability of 150 acres at the intersection of US-1 and I-95 County provided a perfect solution for Rossmeyer and his most ambitious project to date.
The billboards read "Bruce Rossmeyer's World's Largest Harley-Davidson Dealership,"
During Biketoberfest and BikeWeek there is live music every day and several acres of vendor exhibits and there is no charge for parking. Check the Schedule.
Destination Daytona "Phase One" was completed last year and features a 109,000 sq. ft. Daytona Harley-Davidson Dealership, with over 300 motorcycles in the 53,953 sq. ft. showroom, Harley-Davidson apparel in the 9,800 sq. ft. MotorClothes area, as well as a 45,897 sq. ft. parts & service department.
It also includes the Destination Daytona's hotel and condominium village, themed restaurants and bars including Bruster's Real Ice Cream, Krispy Kreme, Saints and Sinners Pub, Hot Dog Heaven and a variety of sandwich shops in the Food Court.

Many of the local merchants who have grown along with the Bikeweek event in Daytona have established a presence in the strip mall complex on the west side of the property.
They include Daytona Official Gear, Hawg Tyd, On the Fringe Leather, Asylum Tattoo, J&P Cycles, Total Performance Hot Rod Parts, The Trike Shop and Humidor Fine Cigars, Accessories, and Gifts.
Destination Daytona is also home to the Daytona Beach Area CVB's "Official Visitor Information Center," as part of the deal Rossmeyer made with the Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitor's Bureau.Volusia County to get the rights to the name.
